Layered sinamay cloth in print and solids.
The outer layer is print sinamay in shades of black and gray and the underside is black.
The brim edge is wired and bound with print sinamay.
Dupioni silk (in black) is gathered around the crown and has also been used to form petals that serve as a base for the combination of feathers that finish the hat.

Sinamay is a lightweight straw and comfortable to wear.
